Shirley Marsh
Shirley Marsh has always loved the creative process with a nod to humor and irony. A never-ending curiosity about our world and the people in it is what defines her. Her inspiration comes from the beauty and abstract patterns of nature. She is captivated by the universal laws of physics and meteorology that govern the behavior of the skies. She is interested how we place objects on a table, randomly or in a certain order.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Arkansas and later attended The Parsons School of Design in New York. Her biggest influence came from her eight years of drawing, painting and printmaking classes at SMU with Mary Vernon, Barnaby Fitzgerald and Larry Scholder.
Marsh currently lives and works in Dallas, Texas.
