Realist artist, Emily Morgan Brown, finds inspiration in the small and mundane. Using exaggerated scale and unique materials, she brings out the intricacies and details of subjects that viewers pass by daily. She graduated from Auburn University with a degree in graphic design and worked as a graphic designer at a boutique advertising agency before deciding to become a full-time artist. Emily credits her graphic design background for her unique compositions and understanding of line and form. Emily has work displayed in public and private collections in 40 states and the United Kingdom. She resides in Homewood, Alabama with her husband and three young daughters and works out of her backyard studio.
